  • Accredited by the NCCA, the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters offers two industry and state-recognized certifications to medical interpreters of all languages, which several among our team have achieved. Their comprehensive program covers uniquely medical terms, vocabulary, and acronyms, ensuring proper interpretation, all of which is vital considering the sensitive nature of medical correspondence. Among our team, we have Certified Healthcare Interpreters that have earned certification from this organization.

  • Founded in 1964, the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf has been a continuous and ardent advocate for the deaf within the interpretation industry. Their aim is to maintain standards by promoting best practices in interpreting while encouraging professional development among practitioners. At Atlantic Interpreters, we can get behind that. So, we are proud to have organizational Membership with the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. Our American Sign Language Interpreters (ASL) and Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI) are also RID certified.  We perform stringent checks on all of our interpreters, ensuring they meet and are aware of standard regulations. In addition, each member of our ASL and CDI team is licensed through the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS.)
